Join Fox West Philanthropy Network for its quarterly luncheon to network and hear from our speaker, Jack Kaplan, as he discusses how the state got to this point and how it has affected human service agencies and their delivery of programs/services. Mr. Kaplan will also highlight the results from the third United Way of Illinois state budget impasse survey and discuss prospects for a resolution.

Mr. Kaplan is the director of public policy and advocacy for United Way of Metropolitan Chicago and United Way of Illinois, the association of 52 local United Ways serving the state.  He leads the United Way’s efforts to engage federal, state and local policy makers in the intersections between government and private philanthropy.
