WRITE ARTICLE FOR A CAUSE
Passionate about a local cause? Want to boost the profile for a local nonprofit? Choose your favorite organization or learn about a new charity. Visit them or talk to their staff and find out what kind of support they need. Take photos of their mission in action. Then, write an article/blog post about this cause or local organization. Publish the article at #DoGOODDuPage, your school newspaper, email messages to friends, your org’s e-newsletter or submit as a street reporter to a local news outlet. Don’t forget to include that your article is about this larger service movement called Do GOOD DuPage and that you’re trying to shed some light on your favorite cause.
