Giving DuPage shares this grant opportunity from the DuPage Bar Foundation (DBF). The invitation is extended to 501(c)(3) organizations promoting the administration of justice.

The DuPage Bar Foundation, the charitable [501(c)(3)] arm of the DuPage County Bar Association, invites the submission of grant applications until October 31, 2016. Applications are available by clicking here, or by visiting DuPage County Bar Association and selecting the DBF tab.

Applications are limited to 501(c)(3) organizations which:

  • Foster and maintain the integrity of the profession of law
  • Improve and facilitate the administration of justice
  • Promote the study of law
  • Involve the acquisition, preservation and exhibition of rare books and documents, subjects of art and items of historical interest having legal significance.

Last year, DBF granted $5,500 to Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA), National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI), Family Shelter Service and Naper Settlement.

DBF raises its funds through a Holiday Breakfast, Giving DuPage’s Human Race, raffles at DCBA events and through DCBA members’ contributions during membership renewals. DCBA members are grateful to be able to give back to the community through DBF.

If you have any questions, email [email protected].
