DHMEDIAlogoStackAs a part of our mission to promote giving and volunteering throughout DuPage County, Giving DuPage produces the Annual Giving Guide, a publication listing over 200 local non-profit organizations.

In 2003, Giving DuPage published the first ‘Holiday Giving Guide’, as it was known at the time.  Our wonderful partnership with the Daily Herald began in 2011, whose unwavering commitment has allowed us to reach over 100,000 DuPage subscribers.

The free 30+ page full color Guide is printed every September and features ongoing & holiday volunteer opportunities of area non-profit organizations, across a variety of causes. It’s the perfect way for individuals, families and community groups to learn about local organizations, connect with a cause, or search for the way they want to give back.

We’re proud to share the 14th Annual DuPage Giving Guide was distributed by the Daily Herald on September 11, 2016 to over 19,500 DuPage subscribers. The guide’s publication date also marks another, more solemn, 15-year anniversary in our nation’s history – the tragic events of 9/11.

Giving DuPage distributes an additional 6,000 copies to area libraries, public venues, events, fairs and to over 1,600 people participating giving-guide-1617in our annual DuPage Human Race.

We hope you will use the 2016-17 Giving Guide to….

  • Plan a fun family activity and volunteer a few hours for your favorite cause
  • Engage your employees, in a team building exercise, and organize a volunteer session
  • Find a great project for your church, or house of worship, to get involved
  • Start a holiday donations drive in your neighborhood
  • Motivate your fellow students to make a difference
  • Discover new friends and get connected to your community

Giving DuPage could not produce the Giving Guide without the true giving nature of our partners – the Daily Herald and advertisers – whose generosity makes it possible for us to offer the Giving Guide as a free publication. We honor and highlight the non-profit community for their tremendous work and services.

We thank YOU for acting on volunteer opportunities and making a huge difference in our community. Together, we create a stronger community for us to live, work and raise our children.

If any local nonprofit organization, serving the DuPage area, would like more information on becoming involved with the Giving Guide, please contact or call 630.407.6458.
