A recent study shows more than 2.4 million Illinois residents made a difference through volunteerism last year. Illinois volunteers served nearly 287 million total hours, which is valued at $7.3 billion, based on the value of volunteer time. WDCB News Reporter Gary Zidek spoke with Giving DuPage Executive Director Shefali Trivedi about some of the other findings in the new report and the best way to volunteer during the holidays.
